Charlie and I met with some friends for dinner tonight at YEN...the most wonderful food haven. We had fun, we laughed, we ate...and we had great company.

Babysitting

Okay,
A couple of weeks ago we babysat a CUTE baby lab. She is so precious. Haley graced us with her presence for a weekend. She terrorized Hoss, but I think he had a good time with her.

So...it's a new year.
Maybe I will begin updating this more often!

The BIG news...I am finally a C.P.A.!!!

I never have to study for the exam again!

My family and friends won't think I'm avoiding them anymore!

Surviving Katrina

The hurricane passed through, and we are all fine.

No electricity at home, yet. I'm updating at work. :)

Sky Ranch

Well...it looks like we're moving, again.

We are hoping to close on the house this week! I can hardly believe it.

The appraisal should be today...let's hope it all goes smoothly!

Interest rates are rising, though, which kind of stinks. They really have changed in the past couple of weeks.

The house is fantastic, though. It was built in the late fifties...a brick ranch style house. IT was originally a 2 bedroom and one bathroom! But now a 3-2. The floors are great...and no real painting to do!

House

Okay...we've been staying in my sister's little house in midtown since April when we sold our house. We might have found a new house...it's a sixties rancher in WEMO, but it's pretty great!
I'll post again after we see it for the second time tonight!

Nothing...again

Okay,
So I totally have ignored this new venture. I'm going to try and post once a week...let's see how that goes!
Charlie and I have been house hunting now for about 3 months. It's going well...we found a great house in Sky Ranch yesterday. It could be a great home for us.
Other than that...just studying and working.
Oh, and a sweet friend was in town and we had lunch at my favorite mexican place today. I've missed her, and I'm so glad she called! Thanks, Marian!

So a friend of mine started a blog...and I thought, "why not do one of my own?"
